This is my 8th year of teaching First Grade and I'm excited for what is yet to come as I moved forward in my teaching career!
I am a big believer in collaborative learning, and my classroom is always full of noise, laughter and activity!
2018 - 2019 Teacher of the Year
I attended the University of Georgia where I got my Bachelor's in Early Childhood Education. Go Dawgs! Since then I have done a lot of Professional Development and earned my Gifted Endorsement. I am currently part of the Literacy Leadership Team in Gwinnett County and I am beyond excited to continue improving as an educator. We should never stop learning or striving to be the best we can be.
Every child deserves a champion: an adult who will never give up on them and insists they become the best they can be.
