About the store

Hi, I’m a former kinder teacher and now homeschool mama, using my teaching & document design experience to offer resources that are easy to use straight from the printer or with very little time at the paper cutter. If you need something different than what you see in my store, please let me know and I’d be happy to try to work that into my project list! Once upon a time I taught bilingual kindergarten (Spanish/English) and Title 1 reading in a small school district in the PNW. We had lots of new standards, few new curriculum adoptions, and very dated Spanish resources—which is why I got started creating my own activities and readers and sharing them with other teachers on TPT. Today, I am enjoying homeschooling my two boys, which is something I never thought I would do, but it turns out we all love it! We spend our days doing Bible & poetry memorization, phonics & math, playing learning games, active movement while I read our history & science books, working on household chores together, and we spend LOTS of time outside—our goal, in fact, is 1000 hours outside each year!

About the store

Experience

Teaching style

As a teacher-mom I need to be able to implement or execute my ideas quickly, and I do NOT have time to be trimming off extra edges or cutting out extra pieces. I am passionate about creating templates and resources that are ready to use out of the printer, ready to “stack and whack” on the paper cutter, or ready to fold and staple! No fussy cutting here! You may notice as of July 2024 that I have removed many of my older products from my store. I am proud of the resources I created with the information that I had at the time and am glad that they supported so many teachers and students. But I also wish I had known then what I know now about trauma, dyslexia, anxiety, neurodivergence, and the Science of Reading. I can’t go back and reteach those years, but I can be here on the sidelines, cheering on all the classroom teachers and homeschool parents doing their best to meet kids where they’re at and take them to the next step, and hopefully offer products that take a task off your plate instead of adding more to your list! Creating new products for TPT is not currently a high priority in my schedule, but if there is something that you don’t see in my store (like a different label size or design option), please feel free to send me a message or ask a question on a similar product, and I’ll see what I can do!
