TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am currently a 5th grade Special Education Teacher in an Integrated Co-Taught classroom. I have also taught in the same area in 3rd and 4th grade. I work hard to make sure all of my students' needs are met every day. This means I need to create just about ALL of my students work and materials.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I differentiate all instruction for my students. I believe that we should teach in the way that students are able to learn to the best of their abilities.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

This year I am honored to be mentoring two new special education teachers. I have also been asked to speak at my old professor's college courses about my experiences as a special education teacher.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I graduated with my Bachelor's from SUNY Oswego in Childhood Education. I graduated with my Master's from SUNY Oswego in Special Education.
