I taught 4th grade for one year before I moved to middle school. I currently teach 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Information Technology. I love my school and my students! I have a lot of elementary curriculum and ideas since I started my student teaching and early career there. I have even more middle school ideas that can be used on the computer as well as without.

I grew up in Albuquerque, New Mexico and attended Albuquerque Public Schools from the time I was in Kindergarten till I graduated from La Cueva High School in 2007. I had some of the most influential teachers that inspired me to be a teacher today. One of the most amazing teachers I ever had was when I was a senior in high school. Mrs. Witiuk taught AP Statistics and I HATED math. That quickly changed. I strive to be a teacher just like her. She sadly passed away in March of 2015 but her amazing ways will never be forgotten! I then attended the University of New Mexico where I studied Elementary Education. I graduated in 2011 Cum Laude and was hired right out of college to teach 4th grade at the school I had student taught at. I loved every minute of it. I was short term, therefor I knew I would not be back the following year. I applied to different jobs and was hired as an Information Technology teacher at a middle school on the other side of town. I have been here since and love everyday of it.
