I have been teaching for thirteen years in the Business CTE area. I love presenting at conferences and writing curriculum for the state. Writing curriculum and new lesson plans is my specialty! I teach Keyboarding, Exploring Business & Marketing Computer Technology (9th grade), College and Career Awareness, which is a mandatory introduction to business, FACS, and Tech course for 7th graders in my state. I am currently earning my Masters for Instructional Design. All proceeds from this store goes to paying for my education.
I am straight-forward, a little sarcastic, and a lot of fun. I believe that humor often is the best way to relate to kids and to dispel problems. I love thinking of new ways to teach my curriculum, and change my lesson plans constantly as I grow and learn as a teacher. Classroom management comes naturally to me, so I can focus on learning rather than controlling! I find it important to create lessons that relate to the student--show them ways they can use Excel or Word NOW, not just in some future business setting. The more they use it now, the better they will know it when they need it.

I have many diverse interests! I love to digital scrapbook, and my Photoshop skills have come in handy more than once as a teacher! I run a blog all about it at realscrappy.blogspot.com. I have a husband and three beautiful daughters in elementary school.
