TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my fourth year teaching in Maryland. I have taught 1st and 2nd grade. I am currently teaching 1st.

MY TEACHING STYLE

When I teach, I gradually release responsibility to the students. One of my goals as a teacher is to create self-sufficient, independent learners. I also try to incorporate technology as much as I can.

I am a product of the public school system in Maryland. I graduated in the top 3% of my high school class. I went on to attend the University of Maryland to study Elementary Education.

Aside from teaching, I love running, gardening, and cooking! I have a passion for nutrition and teaching children about treating their bodies right. I also love technology and DIY projects.
