TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I recently completed my fourth year of teaching in an inner city charter school. I have been working with kids my entire life. I started when I was 11 as a certified babysitter for children in my neighborhood. From there, I went on to volunteer in a children's home and a safety town instructor. As I began my college career, I began teaching art in an after school care program while I attended school. I then went on to a daycare facility where I worked with students ranging from 6 months old to 12 years old. I finished my Bachelor's degree in Middle Childhood Education focusing on English and Science. I continued my education and received a Master's degree in Education focusing on Technology Facilitating. Now I work in a school system where I focus on helping teachers integrate technology successfully in their classrooms.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My style generally revolves around keeping the students interested and involved. I love projects, integrating technology, hands-on labs and activities, as well as learning games as incentives for children.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I graduated with honors from my graduate degree program.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I attended Baldwin-Wallace College in Cleveland for five years and received my Bachelors of Science in Education in 2011. I am currently a graduate student studying for my Master's in Education, Tech Facilitating.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

My current job doesn't allow me to do much teaching or planning, which is still something I love to do. I can't wait to share all of my fun lessons with you!
