I have been teaching Elementary Special Education for 16 years. I have taught in several different settings including inclusion/co-teaching, resource and self-contained, middle and elementary. I currently teach K-2 ESE in a self-contained to students with varying exceptionalities and love it!
I am known by my students and co-workers for my calm demeanor which reflects in my classroom's atmosphere. I want my students to have a happy, predictable, positive place to come to every day. I believe consistency is the key to my student's success and flexibility and compassion are so important to develop a trusting relationship.
