I have a degree from the University of Alabama in Communication and Information Sciences (Journalism). I worked for a period as a reporter for a state newspaper. I have been teaching junior and senior high school English and all grades journalism for 6 years.
I currently teach all of my English and journalism classes in a computer lab of 28 computers. I conduct most of my units through Moodle. My teaching style is differentiated so that I can reach every learning style in my classroom.

Before teaching, I worked as a newspaper reporter. In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my husband and toddler and volunteering with my church.
