I have taught for 11 years in K-12 Physical Education, Health and also Special Education EBD, and LD. I have taught in Public schools and also Tribal/Government schools. Each has been a wonderful experience with great learning along the way. I enjoy watching my students light up when they understand a new concept or are able to perform a new one!
I would say my teaching style is progressive with the times but my discipline is old school. I feel kids need to learn how to win and lose graciously. Sportsmanship in class is a huge focus in my classes and we try hard to carry that over to our every day lives, not just in the PE classroom.
