I have experience teaching Biology (General Education and Inclusion), Chemistry (General Education and Inclusion), Physical Science (General Education and Inclusion), Physics (Honors), Zoology (General Education and Inclusion), AP Environmental Science, Environmental Science, and Marine Ecology.
I use a combination of self-created PowerPoints and hands-on labs and self-created practice problem sets (for physics, chemistry, and physical science) to teach my students. This style has proven very effective, as my students are consistently among the top-scoring in my school and district on state standardized tests.

I am a marine ecologist turned science teacher. In my 9 years of teaching, I have taught Chemistry, Physical Science, Biology, Zoology, Physics, Research II, on-level Environmental Science, and AP Environmental Science. I have designed a pacing guide and curriculum around the Georgia Performance Standards for each of my classes. Many textbook and online labs/lessons do not provide the level of rigor and inquiry that I require in my classes, so I often design my own labs and lessons.
