I am a Kindergarten teacher in Indianapolis, IN, and I love it! Before that I taught maternity leaves for 2nd, 3rd, and 4th grades, so you will see work for many grade levels here.
I am a big fan of centers/workstations and differentiated learning. I also love integrated learning and multidisciplinary lessons. Finally, I strive to include all of the multiple intelligences in my lessons. We all learn differently, so I believe as teachers we should cater to that.
I have received the Future Educator's Award, Honor List and the Chancellor's Award each year. I have also been a public speaker at two national conferences for education.
Graduated from Purdue University and attended multiple conferences on various educational subjects.
From Texas but now I'm an Indiana gal.
