I have been a teacher for five years, three of which were spent teaching in the country of Nicaragua to ELL learners. I have taught third grade for four years, and first grade for one year. My student teaching was in fifth grade.
I make sure to reach all of my students through their various learning styles. I enjoy a combination of direct instruction, small group rotations, and discovery learning. Learning a love of reading books is the top priority in my classroom.
