I have been an educator in public schools for six years. I have taught in high school and worked in middle and elementary schools. I taught 9th grade physical science for three years and worked as a flexible placement teacher for one year teaching 9th grade English, yearbook, newspaper, and film literacy. I currently work as a technology facilitator in middle and elementary schools helping teachers of grades K-8 plan and implement lessons that use relevant technology resources.
I enjoy teaching lessons that incorporated cooperative learning as well as individual work in the form of guided inquiry. I am a fan and proponent of the flipped class model, and I love to utilize technology in the classroom. I am particularly fond of finding and using Web 2.0 tools.
