TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have taught in the middle school setting for the past five years. Three years in the Utah State Education System and two years in the North Carolina system. I have taught 6th, 7th, and 8th grade Language Arts/Reading; 8th grade remedial reading; and journalism.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in addressing a wide variety of learning styles. As such, my materials utilize a combination of whole-class instruction, cooperative group learning, partner projects and independent work.
