TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught second grade for two years before graduating to fifth grade. I have taught fifth grade for six years now, and I love every second of it!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I strive to meet the needs of my diverse learners through a variety of activities. I incorporate many projects and interactive lessons in my daily routines. I also work with small groups and individually with students as much as possible to reach students on their levels.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

I graduated Magna Cum Laude from Clemson University. I was recently nominated as a Teacher Leader by my administrators and have the opportunity to be a part of the Teacher Leader consortium through our state department. I was Teacher of the Year for my school during the 2017-2018 school year.

I graduated from Clemson University in 2010 with a degree in Elementary Education. I also have a Masters in Administration and Supervision through Clemson University.
