TEACHING EXPERIENCE

10 years of experience teaching English Language Arts, including: 9th Grade English (including Honors classes), 10th Grade English (including Honors classes), 12th Grade British Literature, 12th Grade Multicultural Literature, and 12th Grade Speech (dual credit class). I have also taught ACT Preparation classes for high school students. Additionally, I have experience presenting at educational conferences and inservices; topics include educational technology, best practices in education, and effective collaboration in learning communities.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I'm currently working on my Doctorate in Education with plans to graduate in May! I have a Masters Degree in English (with a specialization in American and English Literature) and a Bachelor of Science Degree in English.

In my spare time, I write a blog on educational technology. I also enjoy writing poetry, making necklaces, art journaling, and spending time with my husband, our daughter, and our two dogs.
