I have been teaching for 14 years and have loved every minute of it! For the past two years, I have taught a TK/K combination class. I recently saw my first class of kindergarten students wearing graduation caps! (tears) I love spending my days with my little ones and watching them learn and grow. I've always created resources my own classroom and look forward to updating them to share with you!
I would describe my style as innovative, nurturing and always open to change. Ultimately, I want my students to enjoy learning so much that they become life-long learners.I truly love my students and it shows. I have embraced PBL and look forward to creating PBL units of study. I place high value on parent involvement and feel that its part of my job as a kindergarten teacher to make their experience, as well as their child's, a happy one where they want to get involved.

I live with my husband, our two dogs and over 80 farm animals in a small town in central California. I enjoy reading, spending time with our animals, swimming in the river, going on adventures with the hubby and visits from friends and family. I especially love it when my niece and nephews come to visit and play on the farm!
