TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am in my 21st year of teaching. I have taught summer school for K-3, 3rd grade, 4th grade bilingual, 4/5 full inclusion, and 5th and 6th grades. I also spent 4 years outside of the classroom as the Director of Curriculum for a global education company.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I'm energetic and believe in active engagement in the classroom. I have the kids work in groups 80% of the time, and I like to work one on one with every child as often as possible. To do this, I require a lot of cooperative and independent station work. I believe the students are responsable for their learning, and I'm a facilitator.
