TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching at a Title One school in sunny Arizona for the past fours years. I have been lucky enough to teach the following subjects: reading, writing, social studies, and ELD. Throughout these years I have taught both seventh grade and eigth grade students. Currently, I am teaching seventh grade writing and I am so excited!

MY TEACHING STYLE

Students need to be immersed and involved in their learning. Students need to have an active role in the classroom to foster a successful learning community. Our classrooms should be a place of comfort, refuge, and self discovery.
