I have been teaching in the classroom for 8 years now from grades 1-6 as well as some time teaching classroom music. Prior to that I have been an instrumental woodwind teacher for the past 15 years. I am currently teaching grade 1/2 and having a ball!
I love to bring my creativity in to the classroom, especially using music to help my students learn. I like to employ a balance of fun and interactivity with explicit instruction of skills. I work hard with my students to develop their skills to work as independent learners.
