TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Teaching 6th 7th grade students for over 15 years. While my specialization is Mathematics, I have also taught Reading, Language Arts, and Social Studies.

MY TEACHING STYLE

As a mathematics teacher, I find myself most often teaching as a demonstrator. Presentations often incorporate multiple visual models and colors as a way of "layering" the material.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

Besides the standard Bachelor's Degree, I have a Master's Degree in Teaching & Learning with Technology through Ashford University.

When not designing new curriculum material for my classroom lessons, I love spending time baking, reading, and overseeing multiple programs through our local church. That is, of course, all while juggling the various sports and activities that our three children are involved in.
