TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I originally taught seventh grade science at the same middle school from 2005-2013. I also taught Biology in the evenings to students who are in an alternative high school diploma program. Currently I teach eighth grade physical science! Prior to becoming a teacher, I was a camp counselor, which is when I decided that teaching was for me!

MY TEACHING STYLE

I'm pretty eclectic...I do what I can to make sure the kids understand the topic and won't forget it!

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Other than the multiple "Best Teacher" Awards that I have received from students...I am a member of Phi Theta Kappa and Delta Epsilom Sigma Honor Societies.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

I attended Niagara County Community College and earned an Associates in Liberal Arts, transferred to Niagara University and earned a Bachelor's in Biology Education, and am currently working on a Master's degree.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I love creating things, not just lessons!
