I am a second grade teacher who loves her job! I am truly blessed to be able to work with my kids each and every day at a wonderful school with many inspiring educators with whom I am able to collaborate on a daily basis!
As an effective educator, I expect each student’s personal best; engage students in meaningful, high quality learning experiences every day; use differentiation techniques to meet the needs of all learners; value diversity; collaborate with other teachers, families, and community members to do what is best for my students; make learning goals, expectations, and procedures clear to all students; encourage students to extend their thinking and become lifelong learners; and become familiar with my students’ strengths, weaknesses, learning styles, and needs.
In 2011, I graduated from the University of Arkansas with my Bachelor of Science in Education in Early Childhood Education. In 2012, I received my Master of Arts in Childhood Education from the University of Arkansas. Most recently, I received my English as a Second Language Endorsement from Arkansas Tech University.

Teaching has always been my calling and my passion. I love my job, but more than that, I love my kids! Above all, I seek to follow the Lord in all that I do. I am blessed with an amazing husband named David, who also happens to be my best friend, and a wonderful family.
