Teaching style

I am an energetic, passionate, and relationship oriented teacher/instructional coach who focuses on the three R’s to motivate her students and colleagues: relationships, relevance, and rigor. It is my goal to instill in students an enthusiasm for lifelong reading and writing through strong relationships, relevant information, and rigorous content. I strive to guide students into understanding how the art of literature and the presence of a classroom family can help them overcome any barriers in life- despite where or who they come from.
