I like to be more discussion oriented, and I try to use labs and activities often. I use labs, videos and related readings to guide discussion and set the framework for the students' "notes." Students complete several projects that require building models and writing lab reports based on long and short term experiments that they have developed to gather and analyze data. Many of these projects address multiple unit standards simultaneously. I am also utilizing the flipped classroom model with college students to make more discussion based lecture and more inquiry based lab
