This is my 6th year teaching, and 3rd year full-time. I substitute taught for 3 years with various long term positions in special education and general education in the K-12 setting. I currently teach in a K-12 Multi-Disability classroom, serving students with moderate to severe disabilities.
I have a hands-on teaching style, with a focus on PBIS. I believe in bringing out the potential in our students.

I am a mom to two, a 5 year old son, and 3 year old daughter. My daughter has a rare genetic condition (STXBP1) which limits her mobility and expressive language and also causes developmental delays. In my spare time, I enjoy reading, playing outside with my kids, and beating up my punching bag.
