I have twenty years of teaching experience at the secondary level. My areas of expertise and certification include general science, biology, environmental science, chemistry, and physics.
I would consider myself a traditional teacher relying heavily on the presentation of real content. I typically present the information to my students orally and visually, require them to process concepts individually through practice, then participate in some type of application activity, and finally study the concepts before assessment. Education is an active process and requires active learners.
None that really ever mattered... well maybe the grants.
