TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a sixth year teacher who has taught third and fourth grade students.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Students come into my classroom to learn and they are my number one priority. Everyday in my classroom is similar but always new. Whether it is new center activities, covering new materials, or some type of engaging activity that involves everyone and gets them up out of their seats and working collaboratively.

HONORS/AWARDS/SHINING TEACHER MOMENT

Rookie of the Year in Vail School District 2016

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

My mother taught for 41 years and is my inspiration for teaching! I hope to one day be as experienced and creative as her in the classroom. I graduated from James Madison University in Virginia in 2011 with my Bachelors degree. I continued on and graduated in 2012 with my Masters in Teaching. Reaching students daily and helping them succeed is my passion!
