I have been teaching social studies at the high school level since 1999. In 2016, I started teaching college political science as well.
I love interaction, gamification, and gadgets, and try to infuse my lessons with as much technology as possible.

I was an author in the Michigan Open Books project on both the Civics and World History interactive textbooks. I was also an item writer for the Performance Assessments of Social Studies Thinking (PASST) project for US History, World History, and Civics.
