TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Self Contained AU teacher in Charleston, SC Unified Champion Schools Team Leader

MY TEACHING STYLE

Structure is the key component to my special education classroom!!! Each student has a color, and our entire classroom is color coded. Therefore, all students regardless of their ability level can take ownership of their academic materials, finding their spot in line on their color circle/number, their extra clothes bins, their snack mats, etc. Our classroom community also thrives off celebrating the little victories, accepting our differences, and promoting social inclusion for all.
