As a Speech-Language Pathologist working in the public school setting for the last 19 years, I have created and would love to share the many activities specific to my student's speech and language deficits. I have worked with articulation and phonology disorders, language impairments/delay, students with fluency disorders, children with autism and similar syndromes/disorders, nonverbal students, and students with severe to profound intellectual disabilities.
Due to the caseload of the public school setting, students are typically served in groups of 3-4 with varying disorders and diagnoses in the same group. We must target every student's IEPs each session, making my teaching style flexible but fun!
