You can get the best feel for who I am by visiting my blog (a never-ending work in progress): http://msgsroom30.blogspot.com. After having a different teaching assignment for five years in a row (due to vertical opportunities). I consider myself to be a jack-of-many-subjects-and-grades :) This year, I am the AVID coordinator for the Clovis Area (grades 7-12), as well as a 7/8 AVID elective teacher and an 8th grade English Language Arts/History teacher! Whew... that is a mouthful!
My goal, each and every day, is for all of my students to walk out of my classroom feeling GREAT about themselves! Don't get me wrong - I focus on rigorous lesson design and the expectations of my students are extremely high - but I attempt to build a personal relationship with each one of them right from the start!
