LAQUESHIA JEFFRIES is a Special Educator, Behavior Interventionist, and 200 hour trained Yoga & Mindfulness Teacher Leader. Having earned a master’s degree in Special Education, she currently works as a Special Educator, Speaker, and Workshop Leader based in Woodbridge, Virginia. LaQueshia has experience as a Learning Intervention Teacher, K-2 Behavior Intervention Teacher, Learning Disabilities Teacher, Speaker, and Workshop Leader. She’s also the host of the Reframing ED podcast that discusses teacher self-care, school culture & community and supporting our most vulnerable learners. In addition to her passion as an educator & advocate, LaQueshia is also an Army wife of 17 years, mom to 3 boys who are rapidly racing to tower over her, and dog-mom of Ella (a very hairy husky-shepherd mix). Her home and classroom are typically filled with plants of various shapes and sizes. And she’d love to swap plant stories and clippings with you any day of the week.
