I have spent the majority of my career in elementary schools, both Kindergarten through 5th grade and Kindergarten through 6th grade.
My students are not expected to be perfect... they are expected to grow by trying their best and learning from their mistakes. Knowing my students inside and out is the single-most important part of my job, since it allows me to meet their very specific needs.

Before I became a teacher, I went to law school. After one year of law school, I realized that I did not feel fulfilled in my work. I had spent time in the classroom with my mother, who was a teacher for nearly 40 years, and realized that although I had tried to avoid this profession, it is my calling. After completing a Masters in Education with a Multiple Subject Credential (CA) with a Specialization in Educational Technology, I am soon seeking an administrative credential.
I believe that we are all in this together. Teaching and raising children takes more than a village in our modern society. Please let me know if there are ways I can help you and your students!
