TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for the past eleven years. I've started at a boot camp facility, opened a middle school, and worked with high school students. My latest adventure was teaching a Generic English program where I had to teach students who were earning English 1, English 2, and English 3 content in a way that would make them a success. All of my Generic students had already failed and were behind in credits.

MY TEACHING STYLE

My teaching style is very interactive and student centered. I believe in differentiation and giving choices on how things get done.

MY OWN EDUCATIONAL HISTORY

My education comes from a Theatre background with an English minor. I try to use my theatre knowledge when teaching to get the kids up and moving.
