TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I'm based in Australia and teach mostly middle school Mathematics.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I love mathematics, and use a range of strategies from explicit teaching, problem-solving and project-based learning to develop students' love for and ability in maths. My main struggle over the past few years has been finding inclusive resources that are able to account for wide ranges in literacy and numeracy abilities. Those students in grade 9 with low literacy don't want to be using kindergarten-looking resources! That's the aim here - produce clean, "grown-up" looking resources for adolescents, while also accounting for the fact that some students will need significant scaffolding.
