TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have been teaching for 7 years in the elementary school setting. I have my BA degree in Elementary Education (2006) and my MA degree in Curriculum and Instruction (2008). YES, it took me less than two years to get my Masters with a 3.8 GPA! I'm Amazing LOL I am currently teaching 1st grade, but I did teach 4th grade for 2 years.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I like to make learning fun but I love to challenge my students and teach them what I know they'll see in the next grade so their teacher will be impressed that they've already been exposed to the topic being discussed. I have high expectations of All of my students and I want to spread the word that all students are capable of learning!

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I'm 32, married, house, dog, but no kids....I'll keep you posted on that one. :-) I love teaching the little ones because they are so eager to learn and they still strive to please their teacher. It's amazing how their little faces light up just because you stuck a sticker on their paper! You can't beat that. And who wouldn't enjoy a whole summer off? Gotta love teaching!
