TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I am a school-based speech language pathologist, and work with grades P-6th. I provide speech/language therapy services for students in the general education setting, focusing on articulation (including cleft lip/palate), fluency, language disorders, and social/pragmatic difficulties. I also provide in-class speech/language therapy for students with moderate to severe disabilities in primary (1st-3rd) and intermediate (4th-6th) intensive support classrooms. On a district level, I am involved with piloting innovative service delivery models (such as in-class therapy, 5-minute articulation therapy). I also participate in recruiting new SLPs to work in the district, and supervise graduate student clinician internships for local universities.
