TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I have 7 years teaching experience in both elementary and high school, mainly focusing on the middle years. I have previously taught 4th and 5th grade, ESL, special education classes and English. Currently, I am a Middle School technology integration specialist and literacy coordinator teaching several blocks of 7th grade English.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in teaching English as a skills based course and having my students use critical thinking skills in order to unpack fiction and non-fiction texts. I continuously integrate technology, and above all, I believe that good, basic writing skills are still so very important.
