I've been a Speech-Language Pathologist for the past 16 years. My job is not just my passion but my calling. It brings such joy to my heart to reach children so that they can learn and improve their speech and language skills.
Interactive, dynamic, energetic, reward- behavioral system of token, rewards, and positive reinforcements are constantly used. I use a multi sensory approach to teaching.
Watching children meet their IEP goals and seeing them carry over these skills into the general classroom is a reward in itself.
