TEACHING EXPERIENCE

This is my seventh year teaching in Elementary Schools. I have taught both charter and traditional public schools. Most recently, I have been teaching 3rd Grade and loving it.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I believe in the importance of creating a classroom community where students feel respected for their differences and valued for their strengths. I set high expectations for both academics and behavior, always encouraging students to be their best selves. With a large class of diverse learners, I try to make sure each lesson appeals to the different learning modalities in my room. Last but not least, I fuse joy and creativity into nearly every thing we do!
