TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I specialise in teaching ESL kids from K2- First Grade in an immersive English environment.

MY TEACHING STYLE

I try to instil a growth mindset in my kids from day 1 - mistakes are proof that we are learning and growing! I'm a big believer in gamification and PBL and my classroom reflects this. I try to use role plays, active/physical learning and imagination in as much of my teaching as possible. Brain Breaks from the classroom "Wiggle Jar" are a big part of my kids learning environment and a big highlight of every lesson! I also try to foster a sense of independence in all my kids and a sense that my classroom is only the beginning of their learning journey- if they are interested in something then I strongly encourage all my students to find out more in their own time and report back to their classmates. In my class we play, learn and grow together!
