I started out my teaching career in 2nd grade where I spent two years. I am currently entering into my 8th school year as a 4th grade math and science teacher, which I absolutely love and have so much passion for. I also have experience facilitating professional development to the staff at my school and throughout the school district. In addition, last school year I was a committee grade level chairperson on the Math Textbook Adoption Committee. I am also a mentor teacher and a member of the Leadership Team at my school. I also had the honor being chosen to participate in a Differentiation Pilot Program in my district and got to present my experience to the School Board. Before I began my teaching career, I spent 5 years working with children with Autism and Aspergers at a social skills playgroup.
