Inspiring students and teachers to grow in their knowledge no matter what the topic is - that is always my first goal. The steps I take when planning for instruction include generating excitement about an issue or topic, preparing a flexible guide for learning activities, considering all levels and learning styles of learners, and embedding multiple 21st century skills into every task and assignment. Lately some of my interests in strategies have included flipped classrooms, blended learning, collaborative teaming, challenge-based learning, BYOD activities for K-5, and meeting CCSS with technology.
