TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I taught 7th grade ELA for two years. I then moved to 8th grade World History. First, our curriculum focused on early man through ancient Greece, then we revised our curriculum to focus on ancient Rome though the Middle Ages in Europe. I recently transferred schools where I now teach 8th grade World Geography.

MY TEACHING STYLE

Collaborative using cooperative learning, as well as utilizing differentiated instruction. As a middle school teacher, I embrace their love to talk and try to apply group/partner work as much as possible. Additionally I strive to reach the needs of all of my learners through choices. I also enjoy giving projects to give my students different opportunities to demonstrate their strengths.
