This is my fourth year teaching 3rd grade. I absolutely love what I do each day. I am so excited & empowered to wake up to help inspire, motivate, and change the world for the better one student at a time. Teaching is truly my passion. I'm always "at work" and "on the go", my brain is always in teaching mode, creativity is my second nature. No matter what store I visit (which sometimes gets me in trouble with all the money I spend, haha!) I always find something to create & share with my students to expand their learning experience for the better and make it as memorable as possible! I figured what better way than to do my favorite thing - SHARE - than on here, TPT! Hope you enjoy everything! Happy Teaching!
I am very energetic, sometimes maybe too much for my own good - makes my kids wild at times! Haha. Learning is FUNdamental after all! In 3B, I'm all about letting my students OWN their independence but first they must earn it by being trustworthy, hardworking, good citizens. Our school motto is "We are here to LEARN and be GOOD citizens" and I strongly believe in enforcing that motto all day long, every period of every day. Another phrase you would constantly here if you visited my classroom is "YOU ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR YOU!" and "WE DON'T SAY CAN'T IN HERE BECAUSE WE CAN - PERSEVERE!" I am all about the positive energy and allowing my students to believe in themselves when times are tough and shouting for their progress and successes when they break through those barriers. I am in love with what I do each day.
I was awarded Teacher of the Year within my school my first and third year of teaching. I am apart of the I&RS committee and Climate Committee. Other committees I am involved with is the PTO, Professional Development committee, and the list goes on. I love to be involved at my school as much as possible!
I graduated from William Paterson University in 2010 with a K-8 LA Certification. I teach all subjects in 3rd which is the best of ALL worlds! I wouldn't trade it for anything!
