CO-FOUNDER OF PORTER ACADEMY: for children with learning differences, taught math & phonics 1-5, Roswell, GA, 5 years. TUTOR at HUNTINGTON LEARNING CENTER: math, phonics, reading, specializing in dyslexia and developmental learning differences, 7 years. AUTHOR: textbook "Geometry in Modules, an Informal Approach," Addison-Wesley, 1975. Also wrote and edited chapters for NSF texbooks. Currently creating additional materials in math and reading for my learning-challenged students.

POST GRADUATE: U. of Chicago Scholarship for preparation of math and science teachers; NSF Fellowship for math teachers-- MA in Mathematics; Woodrow Wilson Fellowship -- summer program for geometry teachers. TEACHING: Star Teacher 1985.

ADDITIONAL BIOGRAPHICAL INFORMATION

I have a daughter who still lives with me along with two of her friends, one of mine, 9 cats, 2 dogs, and 3 rats. It's a zoo here.
