TEACHING EXPERIENCE

Kate Agioritis is an Australian composer, arranger, music educator and instrumentalist. She started out writing music for use with her own students and performing groups. Today, Kate has an extensive catalogue including various solo, chamber, orchestral and band works, with her small ensemble arrangements proving popular with student and adult performers worldwide. She founded Musika Publishing Australia in 2011 and loves hearing from performers of her music from around the world.

MY TEACHING STYLE

It is Kate's firm believe repertoire selection is an important factor in delivering dynamic and effective Instrumental Music education. Providing students with repertoire that is accessible whilst suitably challenging, and that they enjoy playing is key to success. It is this belief that motivated Kate to begin tailoring music to her students' needs and abilities.
