TEACHING EXPERIENCE

I've been teaching English for over a decade in a variety of capacities: - University preparation for international students in New York - University students in Japan - Teacher training and language teaching for JICA volunteers (JICA is like the Japanese version of the Peace Corps) - Private language instruction for adults and children

MY TEACHING STYLE

Student-based lessons where the teacher is the observer or facilitator. Minimal teacher instruction is used and a high rate of student language application is applied. Error correction and personal goal setting is used to address individual learner needs.
